Gaby Baizas is a journalist, writer, and researcher based in Manila, Philippines.

I write about social media platforms, disinformation, media and journalism issues, and online culture.

I am currently pursuing an MSc in Media and Communications (Data and Society) at the London School of Economics and Political Science under the United Kingdom's Chevening Scholarship.

Until September 2025, I was a full-time digital forensics researcher for the award-winning, Manila-based newsroom Rappler.
